Celia Child was born in London and having lived in Canada for ten years now resides in the Lake District.
The story, about a family moving to another country and their plane journey with their dogs Max and Bella, has a suggested reading age of 5-9 years – although children younger than this  will enjoy the pictures and hearing the story too.
The book was illustrated by Celia’s cousin John, a mechanical engineer and self-taught artist.  His style and technical knowledge are displayed in the paintings, particularly of the aircraft!
